Camp 11On 29 June, 296 Chinese officers and men, graduates of Camp 3, arrived at Lingchuan (33-01 115-24), the future location of Camp 11. This group and 500 Chinese recruits from Shantung Province who had also arrived at Ling Chuan, selected a campsite and made the necessary arrangements for the American instructors who would be flown to this area or smuggled through the Jap lines. The graduates of this camp, which had only a nominal existence, were organized into the 11th Column of the Chinese Commando Army and sent with Americans to engage in guerrilla activities in the Shantung Province.
