Camp 2

Camp 2 was located at Chenyuan (27-04 108-26).  The original location of this camp was Nanyo, north of Hengyang.  In early March this camp was moved to Hung Chiang (27-14  109-58) in order to be nearer the area of operations of units working out of this camp.  Because of the Jap offensive from the Paoking area, this camp evacuated to Chen Yuan on 22 April.

In five training classes, 3,901 Chinese had been trained by Camp 2 personnel, Camp 1 being the only camp which trained a larger number of Chinese. The largest number of the Camp 2 graduates were members of the 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 7th Columns, Chinese Commando Army.
