Camp 8Camp 8 at Yuhu (27-53 120-08) was a training camp for approximately 400 Chinese soldiers under the command of General Chang Kwei Fong. Curriculum included training in small arms and weapons, demolition, incendiaries, ship and plane identification, intelligence reporting and photography. Total number of students eventually numbered 500. Camp 8 was in enemy territory near the seacoast. Men were in constant danger of capture or annihilation by the enemy. Yuhu was a farming village. No theatres, restaurants, stores or other spots of diversion. Only native huts lined one street.
